Christine Young Bakun, D.M.D has been treating patients in our office since October, 2017. Dr. Bakun graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management and Policy/ Pre-Dental degree for her undergraduate studies in 2008. She then graduated from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine in 2013. Dr. Bakun did her General Practice Residency at Lincoln Medical Center-Weill Medical College from 2013-2014. Dr. Bakun began treating patients professionally in California in 2014 until her recent relocation to Pennsylvania. She was very interested in learning BioSafeDentistry practices from Dr. Robbins and has very successfully been co-treating our patients using the same high standards of practice and safety that Dr. Robbins employs. Dr. Bakun resides in Philadelphia with her husband and their dog.



Denise worked as a front desk coordinator for 10 years throughout her high school, college and early teaching years. With a degree in education she taught elementary school for 8 years, In 2013 she worked as a patient coordinator in a pediatric office and a year later joined Dr. Robbins’ team. She is very excited to be part of BioSafeDentistry! Denise is married with three children and one crazy rescue dog! She enjoys the beach, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Colleen has been a member of our team for over five years. She graduated from Harcum College as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, requiring more hours and lectures on dentistry. EFDA’s as they are known as, are trained to do more chairside procedures with patients, working closer with the dentist. They can place dental fillings and take impressions among other advanced procedures. Colleen is excited working for the first time in a BioSafe Dental Office, and is enjoying learning and realizing a safer way to practice dentistry. Colleen has always had a love for science, art and the environment. This career has been a perfect fit for her!  She is married and the proud mother of 3 wonderful children.


Liz has worked in the dental field for over 22 years. She started as a dental receptionist, went on to be a dental assistant and finally graduated with a dental hygiene degree in 2003. She graduated from Ohio’s Stark State College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in the field of Dental hygiene. She is also a dental hygiene college instructor with a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from the Ohio State University. Liz loves to educate her patients on the best ways to keep their mouth healthy. With 5 years experience in a BioSafeDentistry office, she is familiar with the toxicity of mercury and the damaging effects of fluoride use. In her down time she likes to hike, play with her cat and dog and watch movies.

Dorothy has wanted to be a dental assistant for years. She is a graduate of the Delaware County Community College dental assisting program in Media. Since she cares a great deal about the patients’ health and getting the best dentistry available, “Dodie” is pleased to be working in a BioSafeDentistry office. She is very energetic and outgoing and fun to work or talk with. Being a people person she likes talking and interacting with our patients.

Dottie enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters, and loves bike riding and the beach.
